Eon Holdings

Branding

Eon Holdings (or Eon) is a media company offering commentary on political and social issues and a real estate firm that offers comprehensive real estate services. Based in Lahore, Pakistan, Eon Holdings aims to offer quality services, products and insights to its viewers and clients.

Between October 2022 and April 2023, I collaborated with Eon to develop a visual brand system that aligns with the company’s mission of helping people prosper. This project exhibits my ability to synthesize research and client needs to create a comprehensive visual system.

Eon’s logo is comprised of three overlapping blocks that make out the letters “E”, “O” and “N”. The rectangular form signals stability, longevity and reliability, a foundation stone not easily shaken. The inspiration for these modular blocks came from cartography and the way maps create patterns from the organization of geographic and man-made features. The mark's adaptability reflects Eon's identity as an entity that is forward-looking and constantly evolving based on the needs of its clients.

Eon’s color palette is inspired by the colors of sky during sunrise and sunset. It ties to the idea of Eon as an institution helping people get their start investing in real estate. The primary color of Eon is yellow, which is supplemented with orange, magenta and purple as secondary colors. The feelings evoked by the colors are of optimism, brightness and warmth, aligning with Eon Holdings' expression, brand promise and personality.

The modular aspect of Eon's visual system can be seen in the brand's main pattern. Based on a variation of the brand logo, this repeating motif resembles a dense city grid, which relates back to the nature of Eon Holding’s business.

Social media is one of the key ways Eon Holding's reaches out to its client base. With post and video content that spans social commentary, advice regarding real estate as well as updates on housing schemes, Eon's online presence aims to keep its audiences informed about what's happening in Pakistan. The visual system of the brand allows for variety in the content Eon has to offer.

A visual system was devised for differentiating the different kinds of content one may come across on Eon's socials, ranging from real estate advice and updates, as well as explorations of history and social topics
